Heating

Indirect Marquee heating
The best way to heat a marquee is with a thermostatically controlled indirect gas fired marquee heater. Indirect means that the heater is located outside the marquee and warm air is introduced through a duct and diffuser. Spaceintense provide two options (23 and 50 Kilowatt units) and will help you decide on the right combination to keep your event cosy.

Patio heaters
For use outside the marquee and provide 13Kw of infra red heat to an area three metres in diameter.

2 Kw Infra Red heaters
These electrical units are good for small installations. The influence is not on the air but on surfaces with direct view of the heater. Each unit has an effect over an area of 3 metres by 6 metres. The heater is mounted on the eaves rail of the Space.module marquee.

Power Distribution

For larger events the safest and most reliable source of electricity is a generator of sufficient size for the caterer, band or DJ, lighting and other consumer units. We will liaise with all the parties to calculate your requirement and install cable, distribution boards in the marquee and double 13 amp sockets distributed accordingly.

If an event is located close enough to a property it is possible to arrange for an electrician to wire in a large cable upstream of the domestic distribution board to supply the demand of the users in and around the marquee. Spaceintense will supply the cable protection enclosure fitted with an MCB and RCD (100a), heavy cable to the marquee and then distribution within the marquee as above.

Accessories

Olympic torches
The Olympic torch uses a small gas cylinder located in the head to provide a beacon of flame playing above the vessel for around 6 hours. This atmospheric effect is great for marking walkways and steps or to add drama at the entrance to the marquee.
